I flipped out when I found out these two were just dating, but to find out that Matt dropped the knee and put a ring on Roxanne made my week. I met Matt and Roxanne separately at two very different times of my life, and I never would have thought that they would meet and eventually get married. Matt shares my love of Rwanda and cycling, and Roxanne is one of those fun people who brightens your day. Needless to say, their engagement pictures share a lot about their personalities and love for each other.

Welcome back to the Alma Mater! Gina and Jeff are a great couple who came back up from the DC area to be married on Penn State’s beautiful campus, and I can’t blame them. We had gorgeous weather and a very flexible schedule with plenty of time in between the ceremony at the Eisenhower Chapel and the reception at the Nittany Lion Inn. We were able to hit all the great locations on campus for their formals, but my favorite was a simple shot from the inn’s lobby – a back-lit kissing shot frames this couple so nicely. And there’s nothing like the bride-and-groom’s mothers table-dancing during the reception. What a great time and such a great couple!

I think what made Betsy and Chris’ wedding so much fun was how all the members of the bridal party were friends – they all just seemed to have a great time being around each other. We did the formal pictures around the Ol’ Nittany Lion beforehand, as well as other family shots inside the Eisenhower Chapel. Ducks at the pond and a trolly ride topped off the portraits. Then came the real fun – I have never seen group dancing quite like this. Dance lines, people on chairs, the limbo… I think the ensuing zaniness really shows Betsy and Chris’ personalities quite well.
