Party people that weren’t in attendance, let me tell you, you missed a great time at Lindsay and Chris’ Wedding! Held at the Bella Vista Restaurant in my hometown of Gilbertsville, PA, there were plenty of outdoor scenes and huge windows in the reception hall to play with light and ideas. The weather was perfect for the wedding, and the young crowd had the party going even before the ceremony. I really enjoyed the photographs we produced in the bridal suite, and the outdoor shots of Lindsay and Chris… Enjoy!

When Jan Thiessen asked me to be his second photographer for Monica and Karthik’s wedding, I was super-excited to learn about the scope of their wedding: two days, three events, dancing, Indian food, lots of guests, and a helicopter. A helicopter. Not to mention Monica and Karthik are a fantastic couple to photograph, and the guests at the parties laid-it-down-hard when it came to dancing. Roxanne and Matt’s wedding was a party for party-people! And it was a bit of a collision of my worlds – I knew Matt through the PSU Cycling Club, and Roxanne through a few mutual friends (and I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement!). It was so amazing to play a part of their wedding, and the antics that happened during the posed photos was pretty memorable (human pyramids, jumping shots, and a pit-stop for the guys in view of the reception). There was so much dancing, cigars, and fun to be had – and it really was a celebration of love among friends and family.

Lauren and Patrick’s wedding is one to definitely chalk up in the “Ridiculously Fun” category! When putting together this wedding gallery, I was looking for some sweet, low-intensity images from the reception… Alas, I could find very few without someone yelling, crazy dancing, or Elmo from Sesame Street (you’ll see what I mean). Some of my favorite ones are of their grandfather praying before dinner, the guests’ dance floor antics and Lauren’s cousin tying her father’s shoe. And I love the one of Lauren laughing in Pat’s arms during the formal shots – I believe lots of laughing and wonderful memories will follow them wherever they go.

Katie and Adam had just the right mix of humor and seriousness to make for a great wedding ceremony and reception. Seeing how all the whole bridal party was getting along made the group shots go so smoothly, and there was no trouble in getting people out to dance during the reception. The settings of the huge church and the trellises and backdrop of the winery lent themselves to great candid and posed shots of the bride and groom.
