I love it when it works out this way: a gorgeous church, moody indoor lighting, a huge guest list, big sunlight for the formal shots, everyone slamming the dance floor at the reception, and a couple like Mimi and Alex… They made my job very easy! After photographing the candid ‘getting-ready’ shots with Alex in a towel and Mimi getting hair/makeup with a big family audience, we headed over to a church with glowing stained glass (I think some of my all-time favorite ceremony images are in this wedding) and had amazing sun to work with for their couple’s session. And at the reception, I couldn’t believe the non-stop action on the dance-floor… So many opportunities for photos! And really, Mimi and Alex were so accommodating and fun to be around, I felt as a part of the guest list as anyone.
